What’s an Oikos Movement Church?

The growth of the movement continues to outpace our ability to measure it. Since no formal application to The OM is required, this list simply reflects some of the local churches we’re aware of who have become intentional about the oikos principle and have realigned their ministry to better embrace the Great Commission.

If you attend an oikocentric church (or know of one) not listed here, please let us know.

We want to be clear that no financial contribution to The OM is required, but an OM local church would reflect the following attributes to a noticeable degree.

1. OM churches publicly and consistently embrace the power and potential of the oikos principle for Kingdom Growth.

2. OM churches regularly train their church families to engage a personal strategy to reach their oikos.

3. OM churches consistently encourage an outward-focus through each of their specific ministries.

If you lead a church that has been significantly impacted by the oikos principle, perhaps even benefitting from the trainings and resources that we provide, then you understand the dynamic the principle can provide a church family. We’d encourage you to regularly support The OM, by sending a monthly gift to help our efforts.
